Our job was to create stories after reading a few poems in class. Quite a demanding job, don’t you think? Despite all the hard work, it was incredibly fun!!!

This book has five short stories about different themes, that we’ve been working on for some time. We have chosen some
poems to get some inspiration, and each group wrote their own short story. Then, we put all stories together creating this book.

The process of creating a story based on a poem consited of many parts. First, we chose a poem to base our story on. Secondly, we organized a plot to fit the poems’ themes. It was a very interesting and enriching experience because we got to use our creativity and our knowledge of fictional stories. Despite the fun, the process was also really demanding as well as challenging some times because everyone had to use their combined imagination and agree with each others’ ideas
and suggestions in order to create and finish our own scripts.

After reading and analysing famous poems, the group got inspiration to make their own book of short stories.
For that, we formed different small working groups and each would have to create their own story based on poems of their
choice. The result was great! In this book, you wil find awesome stories very different from each other.
