All the stories in this book come from the sweat of a lot of work. Since the start of the project until now, we stretched our abilities and improved our skills. We started that project reading poems, some brought by the teacher, some of our own, some researched on the Internet five minutes before class.

After starting with the poems, we moved to the prose by watching videos about how to write more creatively. Then, we enjoyed greatly writing the stories, creating pictures to fit in and researching for sounds. As a result, this e-book is now found in your hands.

We all wish you a great time reading these stories. The mysteries and secrets are there all together wrapping this whole thing up.

To write this book, we had a lot of work. We read several poems in class and discussed a lot for this book to be in your
hands now. Then, the INTERMEDIATE 2 2017 of Vera Cruz School created the stories. The group split into five sub-groups and each one wrote a short story. However, the challenge was not only creating the stories. We also worked hard
when making the cover and finding the title, since each group wrote a different story in a different genre.
In the end, all the group helped and we are very proud to have finished it for you.

After reading and analyzing some poems and stories from the book “Bookworms Club Diamond”, we were introduced to the e-book project. To start with, we were divided in trios and, based on one poem chosen by these groups, the stories were
written.
All the narratives have one thing in common: they are fiction trying to show the reality of people facing life and problems
which may defeat us. Through most of these stories, we see people who are just watching and not helping who needs most.
These stories present one side of reality, which is definitely not a show.

You will face pasts. Some of them can be happy, even cheerful and shining. Others, not that much. They can be  indigestible, disturbing and even touching. You are not just diving, you will be drowned. Drowned onto a narrow and
intense road, which may change your view and your mind about the most ordinary things. The long road does not apply only to the ones reading it. The writing of this ebook had the same intensity and joy. In the end, it’s all about poems. Poems which inspired our stories. The same stories that fill and color these pages.  You are about to start your walk along this road. Trust us, it is worth it. It is a critical road, paved by critical stories, written by critical students who are still lucid
about society. Welcome to this alerting trip. Do not let blindness overpower your lucidity

Our job was to create stories after reading a few poems in class. Quite a demanding job, don’t you think? Despite all the hard work, it was incredibly fun!!!

This book has five short stories about different themes, that we’ve been working on for some time. We have chosen some
poems to get some inspiration, and each group wrote their own short story. Then, we put all stories together creating this book.
