Uma delas \u00e9 a matriz energ\u00e9tica que representa os conjuntos de fontes de energia dispon\u00edvel para movimentar\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">m\u00e1quinas, como combust\u00edveis provenientes do petr\u00f3leo.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Mas e<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">sse tipo de\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">energia<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">pode<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0se tornar facilmente energia el\u00e9trica por meio da queima de combust\u00edveis f<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00f3<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">sseis de usinas. J\u00e1 a matriz el\u00e9trica \u00e9 formada por um conjunto de fontes dispon\u00edveis que geram a energia el\u00e9trica, como a \u00e1gua, que gera a energia\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">hidr\u00e1ulica<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559731&quot;:708,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">A energia renov\u00e1vel\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00e9 aquela<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">origin\u00e1ria\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">de recursos naturais que s\u00e3o naturalmente reabastecidos, como sol, vento, chuva e mar\u00e9s e \u00e9<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0voltada<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0para o desenvolvimento de alternativas na produ\u00e7\u00e3o de energia, a partir de mat\u00e9ria org\u00e2nica de origem animal e vegetal, a biomassa. A energia\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">solar, e\u00f3lica, hidrel\u00e9trica e geot\u00e9rmica<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0s\u00e3o exemplos de energia renov\u00e1vel\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">e<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0que fazem parte da matriz el\u00e9trica.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559731&quot;:708,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">As fontes de energia n\u00e3o renov<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00e1veis s\u00e3o extra\u00eddas de elementos encontrados na natureza e<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">tendem a acabar, como o combust\u00edvel f\u00f3ssil (petr\u00f3leo, carv\u00e3o mineral, g\u00e1s natural etc.) ou os elementos radioativos u<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">tiliz<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">ados nas usinas nucleares (ur\u00e2nio, plut\u00f4nio etc.)<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0E apesar de serem possivelmente esgot\u00e1veis e terem um<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">ma<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">l<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0impacto ambiental, \u00e9 a fonte de energia mais utilizada no mundo atualmente<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">explica o\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">site<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0Cemi<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">g de energia<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559731&quot;:708,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Funcionamento de uma usina Hidrel\u00e9trica<\/span><\/b><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559731&quot;:708,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">As usinas hidrel\u00e9tricas fornecem aproximadamente 90% de energia el\u00e9trica em todo o territ\u00f3rio brasileiro e 10% s\u00e3o\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">fornecidas\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">p<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">or outras<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0fontes<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">N<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">o mu<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">ndo<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0a<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">energia hidrel\u00e9trica<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0representa 19% da eletricidade\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">consumida<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0no ano de 2005,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">como explica\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Wagner\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">de Carreira,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">sendo assim<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00e9 um tipo de usina de extrem<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">a\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">import\u00e2ncia<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0no mundo<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0inteiro<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559731&quot;:708,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">A estrutura de uma usina hidrel\u00e9trica funciona de maneira integrada e em conjunto, utilizando o sistema de capta\u00e7\u00e3o e adu\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1gua<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0pela barragem, pela casa de for\u00e7a e vertedouro. A fun\u00e7\u00e3o da barragem \u00e9 interromper o curso normal da \u00e1gua, criando um reservat\u00f3rio, onde\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">ela<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">ser\u00e1 armazenada.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Esse<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0reservat\u00f3rio tamb\u00e9m permite que a vaz\u00e3o dos rios seja adequada, tanto em per\u00edodos chuvosos, quanto de seca. Entretanto existem usinas que n\u00e3o possuem reservat\u00f3rio, ou o possuem em dimens\u00f5es menores,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">que s\u00e3o chamadas \u201chidrel\u00e9tricas a fio d\u2019\u00e1gua\u201d. Al\u00e9m disso, \u00e9 o terceiro pa\u00eds com maior potencial hidr\u00e1ulico, estando atr\u00e1s da R\u00fassia e da China.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">No Brasil<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">h\u00e1 147 usinas hidrel\u00e9trica<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">s<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, sendo a usina de Jaguari, localizada\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">no estado de\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">S\u00e3o Paulo<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">a menor usina\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">hidrel\u00e9trica<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0do Brasil<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0com sua pot\u00eancia instalada de 27,6 MW<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, enquanto a usina de Itaipu \u00e9 a maior do Brasil e da Am\u00e9rica Latina<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559731&quot;:708,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">A usina hidrel\u00e9trica de Itaipu \u00e9\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">uma imensa constru\u00e7\u00e3o, que foi desenvolvida a partir do interesse comum entre o Brasil e o Paraguai e, por isso, pertence a ambos.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">O recurso h\u00eddrico usado para promover o funcionamento da usina \u00e9 o rio Paran\u00e1, que se encontra na divisa entre os dois pa\u00edses.<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0Foi constru\u00edda entre os anos de 1975 e 1982, sendo inaugurada no dia 5 de maio de 1984, a um custo de 19,6 bilh\u00f5es de d\u00f3lares, como informa o site oficial do governo, Itaipu Binacional.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559731&quot;:708,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">A usina de\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Itaipu<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">, al\u00e9m de ser a maior usina hidrel\u00e9trica na Am\u00e9rica Latina, tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 l\u00edder mundial em produ\u00e7\u00e3o de energia limpa e renov\u00e1vel, tendo produzido mais de 2,6 bilh\u00f5es de Megawatts-hora (MWh) desde o in\u00edcio de sua opera\u00e7\u00e3o. Possui 20 unidades geradoras e 14.000 MW de pot\u00eancia instalada, fornecendo 11,3% da energia consumida no Brasil e 88,1% no Paraguai.
